What the waitlist collects
When you join the waitlist we keep four things: your name, your restaurant's name, your email address and the time you signed up.
Why
We use them only to write to you about Usta: about early access, and to ask a few questions before that. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to anyone else's list.
Where it is kept
Entries are stored in a private file on our web host, outside the public website. Each new entry also sends one notification email to our own inbox so we can reply. No outside form or mailing service is involved.
To limit abuse, the form stores a hash of your connection address, apart from your entry, and counts attempts within a ten-minute window. Old counts are cleared when the form next receives a valid request.
How long, and your choices
We have not published a fixed retention period yet. To ask about retention, or to request access to, correction of or removal of your waitlist entry and its notification email, write to us from the address you signed up with:
Site analytics
getusta.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses cookies and collects information about your browser and visit. We do not include waitlist field contents in the analytics calls made by this site's own code.
Your restaurant's data
This page covers the website and the waitlist. This website does not accept restaurant operating records. Usta itself is in development; we will publish how it handles restaurant data before inviting outside restaurants to connect invoices, sales or staff information.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
